Firstly, congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most profound physical and emotional experiences of your life. This incredible time can also be a tremendous opportunity for growth.
Prenatal Yoga can offer a supportive way for you to connect with your body and baby by providing a gentle and effective workout. Yoga helps build muscular strength and flexibility, develop balance and coordination, increase circulation and promote relaxation. Your body is unique. Listen to your body, your breath, and your baby and always feel free to adjust the poses accordingly. Practice with gentleness and grace. Please check with your health care provider if practicing yoga is safe for you, be especially careful and mindful during your first trimester.
With my collection of prenatal yoga videos, you'll discover a powerful way to connect to the beauty and transformation of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. There are 10 videos with all trimesters in mind, as I always offer modifications. There is one video specifically designed for those with pubic bone pain (this would offer you an idea for how to modify the other classes to help you), but also great to practice for everyone.
I have also included a 7 Part Chakra Meditation with the bundle. If you don’t know anything about the chakras, don’t worry, I explain everything in detail. My approach to yoga and these chakra meditations is very tangible and relatable. Keeping your mind and body relaxed is of utmost importance during pregnancy, so these 20 minute meditations are ideal to help you settle the mind and relax the body.
Finally, there is the
Yoga Nidra section, which takes relaxation to another level.
Yoga Nidra is the Yoga of Sleep and is great to relax the mind and body. It is especially fantastic for those who find it difficult to sleep.
